Final Magazine Cover

My first idea was taken from Jordan Keith to use do a music cover, I experimented to make it work with other topics as well, film for example.

I then went into the studio and tried to replicate the lighting, I did a photograph with someone holding a guitar that could have been used as a music cover and one with someone holding a gun that could be used for film. I do like these images but I believe they are too dark to be on a magazine cover.

My second idea was from Jason bell to do a film cover, I went into the studio to experiment with different props and lighting.

^ This was my original idea to work from.
In the studio I experimented with different poses and props to make it less hard hitting, using the “pow!” prop made it more of a joke but I again think this wouldn’t be a very good magazine cover, although it would catch some people’s attention it could offend others therefore making it less usable.

My third idea was from James King to do a lifestyle magazine. I realised this was be a harder task to do in a studio so I made executed it in a different way.

<This is the original image I was going to recreate.
I went into the studio with a projector and a model in a white dress. I projected a picture I took of a nature scene that had taken previously onto a white background with a model in front the background.

This was the final image I got, I then opened it in Photoshop and brightened it and made the colours purer. I also added extra needed aspects to make it look like a magazine cover.

This is my final magazine cover, I like this because it's mysterious and has a lot of colour. A thing I could have changed it changing my projected picture quality so it wouldn't have pixilated, I could also have added more wording and headings to make it more interesting.
